Project Accountant

I am looking to hire a Project accountant for one of my public sector client.

Please read the below job specification:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: - Must have stakeholder management,

- project based background
- understand accounts and be able to do a business case for projects
- The project needs to develop the processes and procedures to enable successful imposition and collection of the Criminal Court Charging
- it will therefore span across both court and enforcement activities.

The project directly supports client business priorities and specific objectives within the HMCTS Business Plan in that successful CCC recoveries can be offset against operating costs, increasing the value for money of the criminal justice system and the courts.

The project accountant will develop financial modelling of business cases across, ensuring accurate financial reporting within project governance for the organization and delivering timely, fit-for-purpose products. They will engage and work closely with Project Managers to ensure that key spending trends are identified and any budget variances are challenged at an early stage. They will also actively contribute to the preparation of the monthly management accounts for HMCTS, providing management commentary and ensuring any savings trends or opportunities are identified for inclusion in the financial benchmarking process. .
