Project Accountant

A forward thinking NHS Trust based in the East Midlands currently requires an Interim Project Accountant for a period of 3 months, to assist with an increase in workload.

Duties will include leading on monthly income and activity analysis and monitoring, preparing monthly Board reports and meeting with Commissioners and senior colleagues to discuss activity and income in relation to contracts.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for contract monitoring in relation to Payment by Results so recent and up-to-date knowledge and experience of Payment by Results regulations and rules are a must for this role. You will also be required to support the Head of Financial Management with project accounting for a range of ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing income and activity for a large NHS organisation, with a strong recent working knowledge of Payment by Results.
