Proj3ect Manager/Sr PM with State of California Project Experience

Enclipse Corporation has an opportunity for a Project Manager and a Sr. Project Manager to work with our customer on a long-term (2+ year) assignment in Sacramento, CA. KEY COMPETENCY AREAS INCLUDE:

- Knowledge and understanding of the State's (IT) practices, procedures, and requirements, specifically the Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM)
- Knowledge of the State of California's project processes, including requirements for feasibility study reports, special project reports, and budget change proposals
- Working knowledge of contract management, financial models, extrapolations, and prospective
- Working knowledge of law enforcement practices
- Extensive knowledge, a minimum of two, of the following disciplines:
- Project Plans
- Risk management
- Change management
- Law enforcement business practices
- Department of Justice business practices
- Law enforcement dispatch systems
- Exposure to multiple, diverse projects, technologies, and law enforcement systems
- Knowledge of dispatch environment systems (ie Emergency 9-1-1 (E9-1-1) systems, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems, Radio Console systems, mobile systems)
- Knowledge of Public Safety Answering Points, the State of California Emergency Services IP network, or Next Generation 9-1-1
- Knowledge of communications center environments specific to law enforcement radio communications
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi infrastructure for a law enforcement agency.

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIREMENTS:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills
- Experience with following SIMM requirements and the use of the State of California's Project Management Methodology toolkit structure and initiation of templates
- Minimum of five years' experience and responsibility as a seniorPM for a large, complex State of California IT project, including overseeing contract requirements, and deliverables, related specifically to a law enforcement agency system.
