Programmer Analyst.NET

The Programmer/Analyst in this contract position designs, develops, modifies, debugs, and evaluates programs for functional applications including, but not limited to iPE Application, FTS/FWR, and interfaces.

This position will support a global Proposal and Estimating application used to create customer quotations leveraging global master data. This application was recently deployed and there is ongoing development for new functionality and support/troubleshooting of existing code. Short term focus includes assistance with code migration and deployment of application code, and assistance with management of database code and packages. Long term focus is on management of source code, development and support of application using TFS.

OVERVIEW:

- Analyzes existing programs and formulates logic, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
- Develops system implementation plans.
- Prepares system and programming documentation for changes.
- Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
- Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in.NET development.

SKILLS:

- Development Applications: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Silverlight, SSIS
- DB: SQL Server expert, Oracle 10g a plus, skills in Lotus Notes database development a plus
- Languages: C#/VB.NET, T-SQL expert, PL/SQL a plus
- Experience: Coding Windows Applications, Code Deployment/Migration, Code versioning, Testing, Debugging
- Soft Skills: Customer focus, analysis/troubleshooting, problem solving, communication, team player
- Work Environment: Agile, fast-paced, goal/results oriented group, highly structured environment

This contract position is expected to be 4 months in duration.
