Programmer Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyzes, designs and programs as the company upgrades an existing Universal Operations Center database (UOC) to an improved design using Visual Studio 2010,.Net 4, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET and WCF services in a SQL Server environment.
- The applications include three web applications, five console applications, and a web service where shared business logic will reside and be used throughout UOC. The web and console applications support UOC meter data maintenance and readings.
- Ensures other applications execute as desired when using the improved UOC database design.
- Analyzes ambiguous and rapidly changing data, people and things; identifies key issues and draws logical conclusions.
- Uses appropriate interpersonal skills and communication methods to build constructive relationships with customers, business units, service organizations and other stakeholders to meet shared goals and objectives.
- Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration while participating in a group or team.

SKILLS
Required Minimum Experience: 5+ years coding with VB.NET C#; 3+ years with C++, ASP.NET, XML; 3+ years of database design and implementation in SQL Server; 2 years of LinQ, Entity Framework; and 1 year of experience with WCF Service and Web Service. Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Area of Study should be Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related degree. Must have excellent analytical abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be results-driven.
