Programmer Analyst

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROGRAMMER/ANALYST to join our client in Santa Ana CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify internal business systems.
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.
- Programmer/Analyst modifies moderately complex applications programs from detailed specifications.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.
- Competent to work on most phases of applications programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in phases
- Programmer/Analyst will write structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards.
- Develop, implement and maintain application software to established standards and specifications.
- Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specification.
- Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards.
- Individual is responsible to adhere to Clients corporations and departments compliance and information security policies, practices, and procedures in the performance of the role.
- Visual acuity to view monitor located on desktop Ability to work at a desktop using a computer for the majority of work time.
- May require working off-hours in order to interface with offshore development/programming teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2-5) years of directly related experience.
- Programmer/Analyst must have development and support skills in at least one system environment, ie, Mainframe, Client Server, midrange, PC/LAN or stand alone PC.
- Programmer/Analyst that understands the system development life cycle and demonstrates an awareness of established capacity thresholds.
- Demonstrates awareness of how assigned responsibilities relate to capacity.
- Ability to concentrate for periods of up to 4 hours.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities.
