Programmer

Programmer wanted for one of our Vevey based clients in the food industry. Your experience / skills: Master's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, or strong equivalent experience along with solid experience in bioinformatics, including NGS sequencing, omics and clinical informatics Proficiency in Python and R on Unix platform and distributed computing as well as experience in statistical computing, machine learning and big data Working experience in databases, semantic web, web development beside experience with distributed computing and computational pipelines Self motivated, ability to take initiative as well as excellent communication skills Languages: fluent English both written and spoken Your tasks: Creating data algorithms and specialized computer software to identify and classify components of a biological system, such as DNA and protein sequences Working together with other scientists and researchers to analyze data sets Using and developing state of the art bioinformatics pipelines to analyze and integrate data generated from many different omics platforms Start: 12/2016 Duration: 6 MM++ Location: Vevey, Switzerland Ref.Nr.: BH 9780 Does that sound interesting?
