Position: Programmer

Type: Contract- 12 months

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Database Developer Microsoft SQLServer developer to support, build and maintain insurance product systems.
- Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.
- Refactor and improve maintainability of the stored procedures.
- Participates in projects from initial conception through testing and completion.
- Learn and use new technologies to achieve future business objectives.
- Design and develop SQL procedures and tune query performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to handle projects of all sizes and possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Must be well-organized, have strong communication skills, outstanding work ethic and be able to work well within a team.
- DBA experience a plus.
- Experience with MS .NET (VB, C#) development a plus.
- Must be proficient with SQL Server development and best practices.
- Minimum 3+ years of strong experience with MS SQLServer and associated tools(SSIS, SSRS etc.) required.
- Ability to understand complex architectures, analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of database/reporting applications.
