PROGRAMME OFFICE MANAGER - DEFENCE NETWORKS

This is a post within the Programme Management Team of the Defence Core Network Services (DCNS) programme. The purpose of DCNS is to meet the enduring Defence requirement for the provision of Information & Communication Services to support the planning and execution of operations, and the management of its resources and business functions

The post holder will work as part of the DCNS Programme Management Team to ensure the successful delivery the DCNS programme and deliver activities and outputs as directed by the DCNS Programme Manager and/or his deputy. The post holder will also be expected to work closely and proactively with DCNS Projects, the DCNS work-streams, the SRO Support Office and the ISS Business Change Manager, and other key stakeholders within and outside ISS to develop and deliver a successful programme outcome.

This role provides a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the development and implementation of a complex high profile programme within the Defence Major Projects Portfolio.

Previous experience in programme or project management is required. The post will provide an exciting development opportunity to work within a complex programme environment which will require an adaptable and proactive individual with good communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and with others and who possesses strong analytical skills.
