Programme Manager - Data Delivery

The Role

Programme Manager to shape, prioritise and deliver the Information Delivery sub-programme as part of an exciting, wider transformation/separation programme.
The outcome of the Information Delivery stream will enable users to access quality management information and structured data from the Data Warehouse and Operational Data Stores using various Oracle-based data analytic, data mining and end user reporting tools.

Key Accountabilities

The purpose of the Information Delivery Programme Manager is to:

- Shape and drive Programme delivery of multiple Information Delivery projects.
- Collaborate principally with the Data Delivery Programme Manager and other projects/programmes to successfully deliver the Information Delivery programme.
- Engage, and deepen engagement with, business stakeholders.

- Solid and extensive understanding of data and information management, Business Intelligence and reporting concepts.
- Running multiple Information Delivery projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid SDLCs including Waterfall and Agile (SCRUM).
- Understanding of data management and modelling principles and an ability to convey technical topics to audiences and individuals not versed in the subject.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
- Good analysis and problem solving skills.
- Ability to identify weak spots quickly; prioritise and drive programme delivery.
- Knowledge of cards acquiring/payment processing industry.
- Experience of running £multi-million programmes.
- Preferably a strong understanding of the Oracle tool sets (OBIEE; ORA; ODM).
- Knowledge of databases. Sufficient knowledge to challenge and oversee the technical design and build communities in order to better assure delivery quality.
