Programme Manager (Construction/Non-IT)

Our client is looking to appoint a Programme Manager to work within the Construction sector of the business.

The Programme Manager will help to develop the delivery plans for the next 5 years of their investment proposals. This is a temporary role to help develop their Business and Safety improvement plans. The successful candidate will manage the effective development and management of business and safety improvement plans to meet Programme requirements.

You'll have the ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders so that all communications and activities are planned and co-ordinated. You will be able to demonstrate similar attributes possibly in other industries.

You will have:
*A relevant professional qualification with chartered status
*Experience in management of programmes of work preferably within the rail industry
*Construction design management competence
*Experience in safety plan development
*Strong commercial and financial focus as well as knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
*Development of safety improvement plan
*Development of Business Improvement plan
*Development of framework for external consultancy/contracting
*Coordinate development activities with others
*Specialist construction delivery mentorship and management guidance
*Provide assistance in depot development and over construction techniques
