PROGRAMME MANAGER

(CONFIGURATION/RELEASE)          AUCKLAND NZ

3 - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is a major Telco who are looking to recruit experienced Programme Manager.

KEY SKILLS:

CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT/ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (leading the Programme around this element of the Re-Engineering Programme). Also - RELEASE MANAGEMENT (Leading the Integrated Programme, push through releases using the SDLC).

- 5-10 years Programme Management
- Experience of Configuration or Release Management
- Methodologies used  - Prince2 and PMBoK
- Have dealt with system integration projects or Administration systems
- Stakeholder management  
- Excellent communication skills at Executive and stakeholder levels
- Vendor Management experience
- Excellent Cost/Schedule development and management skills
- Quality and Risk management

Very strong experience with on-going projects with customer and third party vendors and develop plans for operational acceptance

- Manage scheduling of releases and changes across Pre-production environments
- Drive schedule and plan of changes through Technical delivery teams
- Facilitate project handover between Technical teams from third parties and consultancy technical resources
- Interact with customer stakeholders/internal stakeholders to understand business requirements.
