Programme Manager

A great opportunity for an experience Programme Manager to join one of the largest travel management company in the world. 9 month contract, paying up to £800 (circa €1150), Located in Paris .

Exciting opportunity to join one of the largest travel management companies. Tou will work closely with stakeholders to establish project scope, translate objectives into functional requirements, driving projects through deployment and monitoring the impact of features after release.

Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the stakeholders to determine project scope, functional requirements and a strategy that meets our customer's needs while satisfying scalability, reliability, performance, and resource constraints.
- Work closely with Designers, Software Engineers and Software Testers to translate requirements into functional designs and specifications
- Effectively manage trade-offs between investment, schedule and customer benefit
- Collaborate effectively between development and test teams on a global basis to execute on milestones/deliverables on schedule and within budget
- Work with internal teams and information systems such as global customer service, finance and reporting

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience of Program Management
- Ability to creatively solve challenging business and technology problems
- Highly developed sense of customer empathy
- Experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed functional designs and specifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High degree of competency with project management
- Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the design and implementation of new features as well as resolve live site customer issues
- Familiarity with web-based product development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies a strong plus
- Experience with a Service Oriented Architecture beneficial, but not essential
- A BA/BS degree in technical field or related discipline beneficial but not essential
