A Programme Manager is required for a 9 month contract based in Stevenage
Paying £35.00 - £38.00/hr Limited Company Rate D.O.E

Would you like to work for a leading satellite manufacturer?

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

We are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager in Stevenage to join our team.

Candidates must have worked in a secure environment, ideally MOD, in the last 12 months. Please provide the following details in additional information box on evolution at submission stage:

- DOB
- Name of Company holding clearance
- Name of security controller holding clearance
- Phone number of the security controller
- Date candidate left that Company

Please advise candidates that the relevant security controller will be contacted upon receipt of the candidates application.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for and receive a disclosure Scotland certificate prior to commencement of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

- To deliver projects and programmes assigned to meet or exceed schedule, performance and cost (P&L budget) (SPC) requirements.
- To meet, or exceed, business, customer and user satisfaction targets (incl internal customers if applicable)
-To be the point of contact on all project/programme customer requirements.
-Interfacing with all relevant stakeholders, internal or external, on contractual requirements and expectations
-Ensuring integrity and transparency in all customer interactions
- Meeting defined and agreed performance targets according to contractual and business requirements (including SPC)
-Monitoring and reporting programme progress in accordance with business and customer needs, internally and externally
-Taking lead in analysing, managing and mitigating of potential opportunities and risks
- In bonus scheme: Exceeding budget through Driving continuous programme improvement and cost reduction to improve P&L
-Monitoring and challenging cost profiles throughout the life cycle within project/programme boundaries - Proposing changes to commercially increase scope + amendments to increase profit
