Program Solution Architect

Our client, a large government department based in Sydney CBD, is looking for a Program Solution Architect to deliver a Business Intelligence Solution for the Department.

In this 6 month contract, you will work with end users, SMEs, designers, and developers to build and deliver a solution that meets industry best practice and the requirements of the organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Undertaking a High Level Solution Design
- Taking ownership of the solution from sourcing to end user interface
- Working with key stakeholders including Business Analysts, team members, ETL and BI designers, testers, and implementation team members to ensure the design is sufficient for all requirements

We are looking for someone with:

- Extensive experience in large scale Business Intelligence projects.
- Experience in designing Inmon style Enterprise Data Warehouses.
- Experience in designing Kimball style datamarts.
- Experience in Oracle Databases, Informatica, Microsoft BI (including cubes, reports, SharePoint).
- Experience in working in, and leading part of, large teams with multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven track record in liaising with a diverse range of business and technical stakeholders.
- High level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience using modelling tools such as Erwin/Enterprise Architect.
- Experience in user acceptance testing.
- Relevant training and accreditation.
- Experience using SSAS Tabular models and DAX
- Experience working in large government departments
