Program Manager with PMP Required

The successful candidate will partner with a specific regions world-wide (Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia/pacific, US) to manage delivery of a program of accelerated deployment projects geared towards implementation of standard company technology, applying defined practices to ensure the program is delivered on time, on budget, in scope, and is relevant to the business objectives.

This role focuses on a specific region and collaborates with other program and project managers to drive ongoing process improvement and adoption of standards. Key customers include governance/sponsorship group for a specific program (IT and Operations), market project managers, product teams and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborates to establish region/market deployment strategy and a viable approach to execution. This includes creating of the mid-level schedule with tangible and relevant milestones.
- Adequately manages mid-level plans and is comfortable with setting boundaries and delegation for leads to confidently manage more granular tasks and activities.
- Develops the communication plan for key messages, program updates, and key decisions that will be used throughout the program. Collaborates with Change Enablement and I/S Strategy to drive message consistency.
- Collaborates with a market (within the specific region) project managers and oversees the implementation of the program plan. This includes ensuring that the appropriate delivery management disciplines are adhered to (eg schedule management, quality management, communications plan, change control management, risk management, issue management, etc.).
- Participates in and/or influences a decision-making body/group focused on managing changes in project/program scope and resource requirements.
- Collaborates with key customers (market, region, global; both IT and Operations) to ensure client expectations are in-line with program objectives and global implementation commitments.
- Builds strong relationships with market teams and global governance.
- Plays advisory role, as required by markets, to identify people requirements and skill sets needed to meet program goals.
- Serves as escalation point to global organizations (IT, Infrastructure/Foundation, Solution Group).

SKILLS

Must have 5+ years Project or Program Management experience in delivery of complex and global technology projects with solid writing and presentation skills. High influencing capabilities (Matrix organization, virtual/remote team) required. Experience in retail/restaurant industry is a plus. Language fluency (other than English) is a plus.
Must be PMP or Program Management certified. Must be fluent in MS Office tools. Undergraduate degree in related field required.
