Tasks:
Deliver a complex programme of change projects using programme and change management tools and appropriate methodologies.
Proactively manage the programme in accordance with the programme/project lifecycle and overarching Change Management Services (CMS) processes, ensuring smooth transition of change through to business as usual.
Implement appropriate programme governance standards; ensuring all project controls and documentation is completed.
Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to define programme and individual projects goals, scope and deliverables which support the strategy and vision of BFS.
Effectively communicate programme vision, objectives and deliverables to team members to ensure expectations are clear from the start.
Perform regular 121’s and performance reviews for direct reports.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the programme team.
Document and refine the programme Business Case as necessary for submission, ensuring it is reviewed and updated as appropriate throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate the capture of programme and project requirements through engagement with Business Owners and Business Analyst community.
Ensure programme steering committees are in place and are held at regular intervals.
Ensure overall programme reporting is completed to agreed timelines and that Business Sponsors are updated regularly.
Quality assure programme and project plans in accordance with CMS standards, to include milestones and allocated resource. Review and actively manage programme dependencies against the critical path.
Estimate and agree resource requirements for the programme lifecycle.
Manage, control and report project finances within the set budget. Submitting budget requests and recommendations to project spend where necessary.
Manage programme and project expectations with team members and proactively escalate to senior leaders and stakeholders when required.
Ensure that a robust programme Risk, Assumption, Issues and Dependency (RAIDs) process is in place with all RAID’s owned and tracked appropriately.
Proactively manage the programme change control process. Ensure the appropriate contingency plans are in place.
Provide appropriate programme level reporting to Project Management Committee, Steering and BFS Exco.
Maintain high standards of programme execution and management at all times.

Skills:
Experience in a change or project management environment, successfully delivering projects.
Experience of delivering at an advanced level all aspects of the project lifecycle; working closely with technical specialists and implementation teams at multiple sites in the UK and globally.
Experience of managing third party suppliers and resources is essential.
Experience of delivery of complex new/enhanced customer propositions and operating model change is desirable.
There will be a need to travel globally and across the UK from time to time
