Program Manager - Governance, Risk and Benefits

As the Governance, Risk & Benefits Manager (Program Manager):- - Lead
- Review
- Lead management of key risks ( including technical and financial risks);
- Examine current operation and risks associated of program;
- Implement benefits realisation strategy in accordance with approved business case;
- Review, analyse
- Provision of advice and identification of requirements related to the interface between program level and portfolio level benefits management and stakeholder management in conjunction with the IT Communications Officer;
- consult with key internal and external stakeholders and other agency counterparts as necessary;
- development of submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers of a detailed nature when required; and
- Review and plan program Change Management Strategy.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Demonstrate significant skills and experience in, risk management, governance implementation and benefits realisation including stakeholder management including:

- MSP used in multiple client engagements in Government;
- High order risk management analysis and modelling skills;
- Ability
- Benefits management and realisation at the program level;
- Production of enterprise benefit realisation and stakeholder artefacts supporting major ICT programs and ongoing operations; and
- Demonstrated ability to engage disparate stakeholders, at a Senior Executive level within both business and technology environments.

ATTRIBUTES:

- Understanding of project and systems development life cycles and Enterprise Architecture approaches;
- Think, operate and engage strategically at senior through to operational levels;
- Deliver required outputs within tight deadlines;

- Flexibility & capacity to adapt quickly to changing demands, priorities and direction.

SELECTION CRITERIA - DUE 12 DECEMBER 2013

- Describe experience in large scale program office structures.
- Experience in delivering project/program outcomes
- Identifying and modelling benefits and the production of benefit realisation strategies/plans/models in a complex ICT environment.
- Outline experiences in dealing with Audit processes.

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP along with NV1/SECRET LEVEL CLEARANCE is a requirement of this position.
