Projektbeschreibung

Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) Teacher required as soon as possible to work on an ad hoc basis with a special educational needs (SEN) school in Birmingham. There are various assignments but two schools in particular who are looking for regular teachers to stand in to cover sickness and course dates. You will be responsible for small classes and will coordinate any teaching assistants also in your class. You may be required to plan and prepare lessons but you will be notified in advance if this is the case.

The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification and have relevant experience working with SEN, particularly PMLD, severe learning difficulties and physical impairments.
The role of a Special Educational Needs Teacher will require

A relevant SEN teaching qualification;
Ideally experience working in an SEN environment;
Recent experience in a classroom environment;
An excellent track record;
Good knowledge of the national curriculum;
Strong interpersonal and people management skills;
Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
