Our client - a leading global financial services group - requires a procurement professional with solid professional services procurement expertise to perform the role of Category Manager.
Required skills:
*Minimum 5 years' experience in sourcing and managing the Professional Services Category, ideally within the financial services or insurance sectors
*Experience of working in a multi-site or international environment
*Strong stakeholder management skills
*Ability and confidence to challenge the status quo where appropriate and if necessary challenge the business stakeholders to ensure the client is securing the best service possible
*Knowledge of the category space (providers, trends etc.)
*Experience of sourcing and contracting and managing Statements of Work etc.
*Capable of working with minimum supervision on own initiative, but with the ability to operate as an effective team player where required
