DESRIPTION:

Context:
The Region Europe and EEMEA IT project portfolio has continuously grown over the last 3 years. As a reason for this trend, the IT PMO function is looking for a support in order to deliver standard modules in the area of project management support and projects' monitoringPortfolio Journals are regular meetings between PMO and Project Managers to review project status and address risks and issues as needed
- Project Closure support
- In addition to delivering the above-mentioned modules, the PMO Specialist will support the PMO team in increasing the maturity of the Project Management function across the region.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- University Degree or equivalent education (Engineering, Management or Computer science preferred)
- Project Management Experience
- 2-3 years of project related experience in a project management or PMO role with similar tasks for programs with multiple projects
- Experience working with Global Virtual teams
- Experience using MS Office products and tools for project scheduling
- Structured approach and task management (ability to handle multiple incoming requests without dropping anything), flexible and transparent with workload and tasks, self-organized and detail-oriented
- Service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work/communicate effectively in English speaking business environment (business fluent in speaking and writing), additional languages are an asset
- Very good grasp of Google suite or being able to adapt quickly (Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, gDrive, gSites, G+ Forums and Google Forms)
- Team Player and flexible to cover different time zones in Europe and EEMEA

NICE TO HAVE:

Former clients Experience (esp. experience with PMM and with the tools involved for maintaining a project (Perform, Clarity, Project Library, etc.) is a big plus

Certification in PMP/Prince2
-

Smartsheet is a plus

TIMING:

We expect to staff the position by 11th February with an end of transition with current resource by the end of February.
Latest start date would be 22nd February.

LOCATION:
We welcome applications from Switzerland and Spain. The resource will either be based in Basel or in Madrid. Please mention the preferred location on the candidate's profile. This position will be 100% onsite, there will not be a remote option.
