Professional Integrations Specialist (BI/BW)

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in the Basel area, is looking for a PROFESSIONAL INTEGRATIONS SPECIALIST (BI/BW). This is a contract role starting from the middle of February until the end of the year.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze, design, code, and test software to meet business and system requirements
- Participate in service capacity planning and software performance analysis and tuning
- Apply current technology, tools and techniques according to established standard practices
- Provide work estimates, identify risks and dependencies for new systems, implementation plans for enhancements, defect fixes
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings and supporting system documentation

MUST HAVES:

- 5 to 7 years of practical experience in Enterprise Application Integration (past projects)
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Master Data Management topics/models
- 5 to 7 years of experience in designing/documenting canonical information models for EAI
- 5 to 7 years of experience in writing technical specifications (developer level)
- Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
- Ability to work with team members in other geographic locations, across time zones, across cultures
- Self-driven and ability to work independently and interact with project teams
- Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk
- Fluent English (verbal and written skills)

NICE TO HAVES:

- +++ Experience with Microsoft BizTalk 2010 a plus
- ++ Practical experience in .NET programming a plus
- + Fluent in German
