MY DUTIES:
-Implement signal processing and data analysis pipelines for processing large amounts of sensor data collected in clinical trials according to best coding practice (GxP)
-Modularize existing signal processing and data analysis pipelines to enable reuse of pipelines across clinical trials by a large team of scientists
-Document codes used in pipelines
MY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Profound experience in professional software development and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical fields
-Deep knowledge of Python and one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C/C++, R and Matlab
-Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores as well as eagerness or experience in building ETL (extract, transform, load) data pipelines
-Previous working experience with common Python data analysis stack (e.g. NumPy/SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc)
-Ability to write standards-compliant database related code for MongoDB and MySQL
-Familiarity with UNIX/Linux internals and workload management systems (SLURM, SGE or UGE)
-In depth knowledge of best coding practices (versioning, TDD, debugging) experience with the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo)
-Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
-Fluency in English
