Production Technician Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN in NEWARK, DE to work with a leader in Industrial Biotechnology, is a global Fortune 100 company and a world leader in market-driven science solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manufactures parts in accordance with safety, quality and production best practices and requirements.
- Monitors and operates production equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.
- Performs minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within level of expertise.
- Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned by manager and/or supervisor.
- This position is required to work shifts.
- Shift schedules are subject to change as determined by business and production needs.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

- One to two (1 - 2) years of manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience with Calipers and Micrometers is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Practice documents and other written instructions.
- Good attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
