Production Support - FIX - Unix - SQL - Scripting - New York

This is a great opportunity for a Production Support Analyst to join a Tier 1 Investment Bank. Working within a global Production Services team, you will provide 1st/2nd line trading floor support to the Equity business, as well as support system upgrades and other incidents in a follow-the-Sun trading model.

You will also play a pivotal role in the co-ordination, implementation and testing of system releases. Due to the nature of DMA, this role will inevitably involve frequent communication with external clients and the business.

You will come from a technical support background. Your technical background will be based towards Unix and SQL and you will possess UNIX Scripting skills as well as experience with the FIX protocol. You will be a keen team player who is willing to learn new technologies and build a solid understanding of the business context of the applications. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills. You will also be able to take ownership of client issues and manage them to resolution.
