Production Support

A Top Bank located in Jersey City, NJ is looking for an Application/Production Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate should have:

· Experience in Production Support

· 5-6 years IT experience

· 4 years of Database experience:

-Strong Oracle experience is a must!
-UNIX scripting (2- 3 years)
- Complex queries, data extraction from multiply source systems, reporting
- JAVAscripting

· Good User interpersonal skills: must be comfortable working in a team, assisting End Users resolve issues

· Experience in AML/KYC for large financial institution

This will be a 3+ month contract that has the opportunity to be constantly extended or turn full time - please do not apply unless you are interested in something long term.

The rate will be based on experience, but the bank is looking for a senior consultant.

Candidates may also be responsible for the tools and methods of six sigma, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), Process Management, Lean and Project Selection. Responsible for the management of cross-functional projects. Staff provides consulting services, business expertise, analysis, and recommendations, typically relating to corporate initiatives. Participates as a member of a large team, addressing process reengineering, information management, technical implementation, and business strategy.
