Production Scheduler

2Source Manufacturing Inc., is an AS9100 REV. C/ISO 9001:2008 certified supplier for precision machined parts for the aerospace and oil and gas industries. We have a loyal and growing customer base that looks to us as a valued and strategic partner for their precision machined parts needs with regards to aerospace landing gear bushings and oil & gas MWD components.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

We currently have an opening for a PRODUCTION SCHEDULER, (Maternity Leave Replacement) responsible for updating the master schedule and inputting orders into the system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- In-putting new orders into master schedule
- Updating master schedule
- MRP for finished parts ownership
- Maintaining kanban levels for contracted programs (Oak, Burl, Revima, A320, Leam)
- Advising customer service of significant issues/delays to orders
- ERP monitoring/clean-up and development
- Liaison with bucket owners on perceived challenges with capacity
- Confirmation of production schedule with sales requirements
- Development of optimal batch sizes to support orders, inventory, and capacity

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Proficient in MS-Office software
- Knowledge of ERP systems - JobBoss experience an asset
- Knowledge/experience in a manufacturing facility
- Ability to prioritize multiple conflicting requirements to get to decision
- APICS or similar training in supply chain and operations managements an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate from secondary school a requirement
- Post-secondary school education an asset
