Production Operator

Production Operative/Production Operator required for a 9 month initial with a world leading Healthcare company based in Maidstone, Kent. The role has responsibilities that include manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, packaging and labeling of slit paper products.

Key responsibilities:

* Reading and following work procedures and schematics or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed

* Responsible for various batch production plant (Slitting)

* Performing manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets

* Maximising daily production output in line with business requirements

* Following all EHS and Quality policies and procedures

* Maintaining production records, paperwork and systems transactions including Oracle.

* Ensuring that all required resources are maintained effectively to assist production

* Works with the team leader, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency

* Supports new product development requirements by performing assigned work as needed

* Performing other duties and/or special projects as assigned, and may be asked to be included and participate in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams

Required experience:

* Previous experience in manufacturing/Production environments
