Production Operator

My client, an international company in the banking sector is urgently looking for a Production Operator for the following mission:
PROJECT LENGTH: 3 months ++ (Renewable)
LOCATION: Brussels
START DATE: ASAP
TITLE: Production Operator
For the division Technical Operations

Skills required:
The person will insure the permanently supervision of the central systems, the central applications and network in order to guarantee the continuous processing of the production's flows.

Major Accountabilities:

- Insure the permanent follow-up of the correct working of the total central Back Office systems (Batches, systems,...), Front Office application and for the Network infrastructure
- Take 1st level support actions - based on existing procedures - in case of abnormal working of the systems mentioned above.
- Execute all the planned system-related tasks (backups, specific runs,...).
- Execute special activities requested by other services (backups, restores, specific follow-up or analysis,...).
- Execute the monitoring of all application processing chains (Take charge of the data inputs
- Take charge of the data transfers in input & output (File transfer, ).
- Produce the operating results (outputs).
- Detect & escalate any production incident in the agreed timeframe
- Take charge of the timely processing of all processing chains in order to satisfy the client
- Take charge of the supervision of the company Telecommunication network (follow-up of the correct working of the network, contact with the company and Belgacom field service, contact with the clients, )

- PC under windows VISTA, Windows 7.
- Linux, UNIX commands
- OS GUARDIAN Basic commands
- NetWork infrastructure (Leaf Node LL..)
- Supervision tools (interactive tools).
- Schedulers $UNIVERSE, Batchmonitor.
- SENTINEL (File transfer supervision tool)
- OSCARE (proprietary alarming tool)
- ISMP (proprietary ticketting tool)
- Batch monitor. (scheduler Back Office Debit)

WORKING HOURS - ALTERNATE SHIFTS (5 WEEKS CYCLE):

- Early shift from 06h45 till 15h15
- Late Shift in the afternoon from 15h00 till 23h15
- Night Shift from 23h00 till 07h15

Expected knowledge and skills:

- College High Degree
- Bilingual Fr/Nl
- Knowledge of technical English
- Sense of responsibility
- Able to work in team
- Working orderly, rigorously & meticulously
- Adaptability to different production environment
- Experience in end-user informatics
- Used to work with PC & PC tools
- Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French
