Production/Operations Engineer

Our client, a leading independent energy company is seeking a Production Engineer for their office located near Denver, Co.
Job Requirements

* · Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of five years experience in production operations and well completion or related field.
* · Working knowledge of production operations, geology terminology, log interpretations, and well bore mechanics
* · Working knowledge of Nodal analysis methods and techniques
* · Understanding of downhole operations, reserve estimations, and reservoir drive mechanisms
* · Responsible for maintaining required safety training and compliance
* · Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time restrictions

Conducts analysis on wells, platforms, and fields

* · Designs, prepares, and may perform well workovers
* · Monitors new ventures and acquisition opportunities
* · Prepares AFE's for projects.
* · Prepare and monitor capital budgets
* · Responsible for maintaining required safety training and compliance
* · Provides production engineering support to other technical staff and departments
