FOR OUR CLIENT, A GLOBAL BANKING COMPANY IN ZURICH WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR APPLICATION SUPPORT FOR A 6-MONTH PROJECT IN ZURICH.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop a thorough understanding of the Credit Risk Environment
- IT Support for the issues reported against Credit Risk Feeds/Data, and resolve them in a timely manner
- Involvement in developing up Bangalore L2 support team
- Credit Risk Data Management Monitoring of scheduled batch jobs, as well as the identification of process improvements (eg automation of the manual monitoring process
-Responsibility for the OLAs and SLAs between IT to IT and IT to business
- Proactive communication of batch job delays to users and senior management
- Escalation of critical and high priority issues to the senior management
-Full root cause analysis and a detailed investigation of issues in the agreed time
-Ownership for the IT/incident tickets open in the area of responsibility
-Solid collaboration with the application development teams and the other relevant interfaces
ESSENTIALS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 - 3 years experience working in IT support within a Financial organization
- Strong listening & spoken communication skills in English, German in addition an advantage
- Experience with SQL (ideally Oracle/Sybase)
- Skills in Incident-/Problem-, Release- and Change Management (from a production perspective)
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- University (or equivalent) qualification in an IT/Scientific subject
- ITIL V3 certificate is a plus
- Knowledge of multiple technologies is an advantage: Excel, VBA, C#/ASP.NET, Java, C++
