Production Engineer Job

PRODUCTION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Design/Engineering
- Design New Components under direction of Engineering Manager
- Use Solidworks to create 3D models
- Create 2D drawings
- Design special fixtures for manufacturing
- Assist with machining and assembly of prototypes
- Documentation
- Process Engineering Change Requests
- Create/Update User Manuals
- Document component addition/subtractions during production
- Purchasing
- Create/Receive purchase orders
- Maintain proper inventory with MRP/Kanban
- Track Purchase orders to maintain on time deliveries
- Inventory Control
- Cycle Counts
- Maintain Bin Locations
- Direct inventory once received to WIP or Storage Locations
- Remove obsolete items
- Work Order Management
- Open/close production work orders
- Create production packets with Drawing, pick sheet, w/o
- Create and Maintain BOM's

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Production Engineer will be responsible for Design/Engineering, Documentation, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Work Order Management.

- JDE
- Microsoft Office

- Adobe
