Production Engineer

Production Engineer is required for a 6 month+ contract in Boscombe Down working for a leading defence, Aerospace and Security Company. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical background and be able to fill a gap between the Design teams and the Supply Chain teams.

Role activities (include but not limited to) acting as the interface between the design, logistics and manufacturing teams - working with the designers, liaising with manufacturing to endure design for the manufacture principles are applied, and working with logistics to ensure supply chain can support the designs.

Experience required:

. Proven commercial experience as a Production Engineer in previous/current roles

. Background in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

. Technical understanding of designs - full design life cycle experience (preferably Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic)

. Previous experience in the Aircraft industry

. IT Literacy - any previous experience using SAP would be beneficial but not mandatory

. Ability to communicate across multiple parties in order to obtain priority information

This is an SC cleared role therefore all applicants must hold this or be eligible for this level of clearance to be considered.
