Production Assembly Engineer - San Diego

We at Businesstaff have been retained by a fast paced, technology driven, growth company located in North San Diego County in search of a Production Assembly Engineer. In this role you will provide sustaining support for assembly production area. Assure product and process quality. Responsible for current line efficiencydevelop and implement operational documentation and procedures.

Facilitate and participate in ongoing quality and productivity improvement team activities.

Provide technical training to PE and Maintenance technicians.

Interface with Japan support departments for new product launch, quality activities and general process development and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years in electronics manufacturing.

Hands-on experience in production line process support.

Direct experience with time studies and line balancing.

High level of personal computers skills in use of MS Word/Excel/Project/PowerPoint.

Autocad, SolidWorks or related software.

BA/BS in a Technical Discipline, BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Production/Industrial) preferred.

Equipment: Dispensing, Robot, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

Compensation $35 to $45/HR.
