Product Safety/EMC expert

Location: Venlo
Duration: 3 months+

Introduction:
Within department PSE, we do product assessments for product safety and environmental aspects. Products are (before commercial release) checked versus internal safety and EMC standards.

Position's main tasks:
Assess test reports according to IEC60950-1, IEC 60204-1, CISPR22, CISPR 24 and similar, support project teams with expert advice in case of risk for deviations, support RSHQ's with compliance issues, report test results to external certification intitutes, implement new safety requirements in product technical standards.

Need to have:
Mid career level in electronics engineering, experience with referred standards, affinity with IT industry or similar, good technical analytical and judgment skills, some experience with UL certification, experience in safety and EMC testing. English spoken and written.

Nice to have:
Experience with TUV, German Spoken/written. Ability to manage multitude of different sub-tasks.Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
