Product Risk and Governance Manager - Payments

Payments & Cash Management Product Management

This role is a temporary role within the Payments & Cash Management Team who provide Commercial Banking customers with value add products and services. This role will be responsible for reviewing the current product set, including sales and suitability, technical setup and maintenance. This role will play a key role in defining the risk and governance process for the development and review of new and current Money Transmission products, ensuring on-going compliance of the product suite.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
*Manage a project to investigate, define and detail the current product set
*Define and deliver a central repository for all Money Transmission products under management
*Define and implement a robust process for the governance of new product development
*Manage multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business, including senior stakeholders
*Be the key contact point in Payments & Cash Management for product risk and governance
*Provide excellent customer service
*Strategically mange your time to best effect
Successful role holders will:

*A Background in six-sigma, or similar process management, would be of beneficial
*Have a strong analytical focus and nature
*Be able to build strong and credible internal relationships
*Be confident in challenging upwards
*Have a strong understanding of HSBC's products and the complexities of commercial issues
*Be an effective communicator
*Effectively plan time planning and prioritise to ensure that work is actioned promptly, efficiently and within compliance regulations
*Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
*Have flexible and adaptable approach
