PRODUCT MANAGER - INFRASTRUCTURE HOSTING SERVICES

Mansion House Consulting is a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specializing in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, Frankfurt, Singapore, New York and Florida.

We currently have a need for a PRODUCT MANAGER supporting a GLOBAL NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE environment for an onsite role with our Tier One Investment Bank client.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management for Global Infrastructure Hosting Services
- Relevant experience that has focused on matching new client requests with the correct platform
- GLOBAL FINANCIAL SERVICES, BANKING, INSURANCE OR PHARMACEUTICAL EXPERIENCE

LOCATION: JERSEY CITY, NJ (MULTIPLE ROLES)

DURATION: 6 MONTHS +, WITH ROLLING RENEWALS

TERM: CONTRACT/C2C

SKILLS

- Expert knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database
- Expert knowledge of VMware server virtualization
- Strong knowledge of operating systems: Oracle Enterprise Linux, Windows, Solaris, Red Hat, SLES
- Strong knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Solaris, Red Hat, SLES, Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Strong knowledge of standard Application architectures and understand the integration between Application, Web, Data, and infrastructure components of an application
- Strong knowledge of x86 HP server hardware
- Strong knowledge of server processors (standard and cutting edge, eg Sandy Bridge) and how they impact application performance and architecture

ROLE

- Maintain the overall relationship with new clients and incoming requests for hosting
- Ensure all dates and deliverables are tracked and managed to meet targets
- Host necessary meetings with partner groups to ensure progress is made against roadmap goals
- Host monthly onboarding review sessions with Global Product Managers
- Build a strong working relationship with partners within client service areas
- Develop strong relationships with client operations (Unix, Wintel, Database)

TASKS

- Assist clients in choosing the right services for their particular technical needs
- Ensure the right products are used when designing a multi-service solution for the client
- Track client requests that cannot be fulfilled by existing shared services and feed that information to the Global Product Managers for inclusion in future roadmaps
- Establish weekly/monthly targets for onboarding timelines per service
