Product Launch Project Manager

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY/EXPECTATIONS:
Plan, manage and execute carrier product launches from conception to post-product-launch. This position requires collaborative work with several teams including product development, software integration, marketing, packaging, and carrier account teams to align with the global strategy of the product.

ROLE:
Manage multiple, simultaneous projects from inception through completion.
Gather requirements and align the scope of the project to the overall global plan of record.
Develop a plan and schedule with well-defined milestones utilizing Microsoft Project.
Manage communication and reporting of progress/status with customer groups in various locations and time zones; own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams.
Remove roadblocks and keep processes running smoothly.
Define and develop cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities; drive process development and continually drive towards optimization.
Product Launch Process (Checklists, MS Project, Meetings, Readouts, Lessons Learned)
Schedule risk assessment and mitigation

SKILLS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION/BACKGROUND:
Bachelors Degree and at least 4+ years of relevant wireless communications experience
Experience in a leadership role with communication between teams
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office, Google Drive and Sites
Carrier knowledge or interface experience and managing resolution of customer issues is a plus
