Product Insight/Pricing Analyst - £290 per day, London

OUR CLIENT, A LARGE BANKING ORGANISATION IS LOOKING TO RECRUIT AN ANALYST TO JOIN A PRODUCT INSIGHT AND PRICING TEAM IN LONDON.

Product Insights & Pricing is part of Customer Insights and provides a Centre of Excellence for customer and pricing analysis across Mortgages, Personal Current Accounts, Savings & Investments, Credit Cards, Loans & Protection, Pensions and Insurances. We work closely with other teams to produce highly actionable insights and recommendations, which drive business strategy, propositions and distribution decisions.

An opportunity now exists for a highly numerate person who has experience of producing actionable insights from complex data, now seeking to develop their skills and their career in a role that will provide the opportunity to develop, and contribute to significant projects across the Bank.

You're likely to have a minimum 2.1 degree in a numerate discipline and demonstrate the capability to understand our industry and business and pinpoint commercial questions about our business, products and customers. You'll be adept at translating the business questions into data analysis requirements, completing the analysis, drawing out and synthesising insights and building the storyline. You'll maintain and develop your own data expertise to enable world class insight and have a desire to learn and grow in role and a positive can do attitude.

Previous experience of programming/SQL is required, as well as a strong understanding of data structures.

Capability to understand our industry and business, and pinpoint commercial questions about our business, products and customers
Ability to translate the business questions into data analysis requirements, complete the analysis, draw out and synthesise insights and build the storyline
Maintain and develop own data expertise to enable world class insight
Encourage a consultancy approach with Strategy & Governance to enable team to respond effectively to S&G requests/priorities
Knowledge of SQL or other programming language
