Product Engineer Mechatronics (m/f)

Our Client is an international operating company in the area of test systems for the semiconductor industry. For it's location in Boeblingen it is seeking you as Product Engineer Mechatronics (m/f)

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:

You will work within the organization of New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering which brings the company towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment.
You will actively drive and influence mechanical and electromechanical designs of new products and manage product changes for manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvements
You will qualify changes in NPI and production and manage the roll out to the whole supply chain
You will support manufacturing of existing mechanic and electronic Hardware products and take care of the quality of those products
You will define and monitor manufacturing metrics, analyze root causes in case of issues and define corrective actions to constantly fulfill the customer’s demand
You will integrate the new products in the supply chain for customer systems and in to the manufacturing process flow in the Global Integration Center
You will be responsible for assembly, installation, test and data collection processes as well as you will define and implement process optimization actions and drive quality metrics towards defined goals
You will align processes in the Global Integration Center with new product requirements, implement and qualify them in the local NPI center and transfer them offshore during new product development
You will work closely with contract manufacturers, Development, Supply Chain and Product marketing teams internationally

Your profile:

Degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics Engineering or similar
Minimum about 3 years of professional experience
Knowledge regarding Manufacturing Processes of electromechanical assemblies
Mechanical Design Knowledge
Analytical skills in failure identification
Interest in teamwork and cross-functional/cross-company interactions
Good English and good German language skills
