Product Engineer

Looking to fill a key role as a Product Engineer in the electronics remanufacturing division. Closely collaborate with the new electronic component organizations to evaluate and implement component salvage and cost reduction for ECU's, Displays, and other electronic devices. Responsible for validation of salvage and NPI projects, including evaluating new NPI opportunities. Will be responsible for Customer Satisfaction thru Warranty Reduction and interfacing with Dealers in troubleshooting and support. Green Belt leader on CPI projects. Maintains product support documentation, print releasing and maintenance. Some international travel will be required.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Electrical Engineering curriculum or equivalent experience in an Electronics Engineering, Electronic Component Development, or Electronic Testing/Development role.
- 4 years minimum work experience in design and development of Electronics, Embedded Controls, Engine Controls, or Vehicle Systems
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Strong initiative and follow through
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous 6 Sigma, Black belt or team leadership experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Working knowledge of multi-level Embedded Control Software
