Product Director | Insurance | Belgium

Product/IT Director required for a leading UK & EMEA insurance organisation to join them on a 6 month initial contract on a multi-year programme. You will be required to have particular product and implementation experience of the MS Cortana Intelligence Suite. You will be responsible for articulating and delivering their analytics roadmap. This role will be based out of Belgium with occasional travel to London.

The solution will be a cloud based solution and a combination of MS Azure and the MS Cortana Intelligence Suite.

You will enable the organisation to collaborate across the business to produce opportunities for the following:

- R&D and test new technologies
- a sandbox environment for re-using analytical models
- real model factory/POC environment

Insurance or industry sector is not required but would be advantageous.

You will be REQUIRED to be experience with the following:

- Managing cross-discplinary teams of Data Analysts/Data Scientists
- Establishing cloud hosted analytics solutions on MS Azure
- Experience implementing the MS Cortana Intelligence Suite, ie:
- HDInsight
- Data Factory
- Machine Learning
- Stream Analytics
- Power BI
- Ability to manage third party suppliers
- Articulating high level technical vision for delivery
- Project/programme management

PREFERRED experience:

- Insurance/Financial Services experience
