PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Randstad Professionals is actively looking for a MEDICAL DEVICE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to join their international medical device client in Zuchwil, Switzerland. The duration of this project would be from to start immediately until 01/10/2016.
My client is the lARGEST, MOST INNOVATIVE AND COMPREHENSIVE ORTHOPAEDIC AND NEUROLOGICAL BUSINESS in the world. They offer an unparalleled breadth and depth of products in the areas of joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, sports medicine, neurological, craniomaxillofacial, power tools and biomaterials.
In your role as a Product Development Engineer you have the responsibility to maintain existing implants and instruments, as well as the maintenance of the relevant DOCUMENTATION. In additional to this, you will also write standard evaluations using EN ISO 14630:2012 AND EN ISO 14602:2011. You will need to make sure that the preparation of the required documents ensures compliance with the MEDICAL DEVICE REGULATIONS (MDD, FDA, and ideally also PAL)
I'm looking for a team player with strong communication skills, as information exchange and collaboration between internal, local and external partners is essential. Do you also have some PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN A REGULATED INDUSTRY?
As you will be working in a fast-paced organisation, creative problem-solving skills are crucial. You will be able to network throughout this international company to connect with other experts in their field. Ideally you will have a passion for interrelations between medicine and technology, as well as a strong desire to work in a global company.
