Product Controller

PRODUCT CONTROLLER - BASED IN ST PAULS - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a Product Controller to join the EMEA Repo Finance/Middle Office in the offices based in Warick Court, St Pauls, London.

The tasks will range from oversight of the Outsource BAU Product Control functions, production Finance Tasks, and assisting Senior members of the team with Projects. The Finance tasks will consist of IPV, disclosures, PnL and Balance Sheet analysis. The project will range from BAU enhancements through tactical solutions to Global initiatives with technology budgets.

The Candidate will have strong communication skills and technical understanding of product control and finance. Ideally the candidate will be interfacing with people internally and externally.

Key skills for a Product Controller:

*Product Control experience with an understanding of the appropriate controls within Middle Office
*Knowledge of Repo Trading business and has working knowledge of Rates
*Strong analytical skills, problem solving, conceptual, analytical and decision making skills
*Advanced Excel, access or SQL skills. Ability to extract and profile data and work in database environments

Responsibilities of a Product Controller:

*Review of Daily PnL and adjustments performed by Offshore Team
*Prepare Daily MIS reports for Managers of the EMEA Repo Finance
*Product Repo Desk IPV, including Repo, Swaps, Futures and Bond products
*Prepare management packs for weekly and monthly project prioritisation meeting
*Produce BS usage Commentary
*Manage ad-hoc requests from Corporate reporting, Front Office and Senior Management
