PRODUCT CONTROL - FINANCE CHANGE

Prime Services EMEA Product Control require an individual to join the team and assume ownership of the Prime Services PL. This will involve developing a strong technical understanding of the trading strategies, products and valuation/pricing methodologies that are utilised in order to oversee the reported PnL vs trader estimates and provide analysis and commentary upon material deviations from Flash. Businesses supported in Prime includes: Stock Lending, Prime Financing Flow, Prime Brokerage, Prime Financing Delta One

RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual will work closely with trading to diagnose issues that have the potential to distort their risk and PnL, whilst also tackling strategic initiatives to enhance the infrastructure and control environment within Credit Suisse.

* Take ownership of review of all facets of the P&L and balance sheet issues surrounding the books.
* Maintain oversight of key reconciliations to ensure trading P&L is reported in an accurate and timely manner.
* Daily P&L reporting to traders and senior management.
* Commentary on daily, weekly and monthly P&L.
* Reconciliation of reported P&L to underlying ledgers.
* Balance sheet review
* Account ownership review
* Liaison with Front Office, Operations and Financial Control to discuss and resolve ad hoc issues
* Provide high standard of client service to Front Office.
* Produce and analyse MI reports.
* Assistance with ad-hoc projects and information request.
* Participate in core Front to Back testing of legal entity migration projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* A highly numerate individual with a mathematical/finance related degree from a top tier university.
* A proficient understanding of derivative products ie Futures, OTC Options, Synthetic Forwards, Non-Deliverable Currency Forwards.
* A general understanding of accounting principles and U.S GAAP/IFRS requirements.
* Understanding of Prime Brokerage/Stock Lending business will be an advantage
