Product Assurance Engineer

My Client, a world leader in the aerospace industry for designing and manufacturing of satellites are currently looking for a Product Assurance Engineer based onsite at their Italy office. Your role as a Product Assurance Engineer will be to manage site activities, interface with the customer and meet PA requirements.

Your responsibilities as the Product Assurance Engineer will be to manage and oversee the following activities:

Inspection/audit of installed equipment (including upgrades);
Conduct facility audits, report and resolve issues with host entity;
Review of AIV test procedures and reports for on-site activities; Interface with Customer PA representatives;
Conducting site TRR/TRBs for elements and segment;
Witness testing of elements and segment;
Lead site NCR/AR process management (NCTS), including NRB/ARB activity;
Complete Final inspection and close out reports;
Provide support for the creation of the final GCS EIDP;
Support the Configuration Manager for the production and maintenance of ABCL (as built records);
Represent the GCS PA Manager on site;
Provide management regular status reports.
Assistance to configuration management process also to be provided.

Whilst the role is for a PA engineer based in Italy it is expected that for approximately the first 6 weeks of the contract the consultant will be required at the Hampshire site.

Skills Required:

Extensive background of product assurance & software development and Software lifecycle
A proven background working and liaising external customers

The successful candidate must be engaged via an international payroll solution.

Once the initial Hampshire base period has been completed travel to other sites is expected to be minimal (probably no more than one day a month and probably even less frequently)
