Procurement Specialist Job

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Glendale, AZ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Leads the effort of the negotiation team with legal and business/project representatives.
- Create and modify contracts to include terms and conditions and outlined deliverables where appropriate and clearly understands contract laws.
- Handles more complex and higher risk and larger impact contract amendments, renewals and extensions
- Develops more complex contracts applying knowledge of contract law
- Develops strategy for contract negotiations
- Directly negotiates with supplier and works closely with Legal and Sourcing Manager
- Develops more complex and higher risk RFP's, RFI's and RFQ's integrating requirements from business and technical clients including functional and operational requirements
- Required to understand market conditions and perform market analysis that may influence the direction or strategy for the process
- Leads and facilitates the development of the selection scoring methodology and process with multiple business units/cross-functional stakeholders
- Negotiation of price and contractual terms/conditions cost savings and vendor management
- Leads data gathering team to provide data in excel for scoring when handled outside of automated tools

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must Have "contract development" experience, meaning an understanding of, and the ability to identify and write, business terms into contracts.
- The requirements are Sourcing skills PLUS subject matter or category expertise in telephony and network contracts
- Sourcing experience and market knowledge related to the appropriate spend categories
- Contract Development and able to apply and understand Contract Laws
- Eight (8) plus years of procurement experience with an emphasis on RFP, RFI, and RFQ development
- Eight (8) plus years of sourcing experience and market knowledge related to the applicable category (Technology, Professional Services, IT Outsourcing or Corporate)
