Procurement Specialist Job

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Warrendale, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- SAP MM Purchasing processes and SRM
- Procure to Pay cycle experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Create, review and validate SAP outline agreements for Sterile Disposables Manufacturing by updating pricing, quantity and material part numbers within the SAP system in support of manufacturing
- Efficiently and accurately manage the daily execution of transactional purchasing activities within the SAP and SRM systems for manufacturing
- Create and submit requests for maintenance of supplier master data records to the Shared Services Organization (SSO) and collaborate with the SSO to achieve problem resolution for issues related to supplier master data and/or accounts payable data and transactions (ie remediate supplier invoicing questions)
- Recommend improvements and optimize transactional purchasing activities while supporting initiatives and target achievements for increasing SAP automation, efficiency, savings and Working Capital impact
- Manage daily issues regarding order processing and fulfillment within the SAP system
- Assist with data gathering, testing and analysis for Procurement's Internal Control System as well as internal and external audit needs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS in Business or relevant degree preferred
- Six to seven (6 - 7) years of business experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Prior transactional experience with SAP MM Purchasing processes and SRM
- Sound knowledge of general procurement policies and procedures and procure to pay related business processes
- Prior sourcing and negotiation experience
- Prior experience as a Supply Chain Buyer/Planner
