Procurement Specialist

Harvey Nash's Edinburgh based public sector client is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist for an initial 3 month contract. You will be working with the procurement team and will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process

You will be responsible for:

. Strategy development
. Developing, planning and implementing ICT procurement and contracts in line with policy and EU regulations.
. Stakeholder and market analysis
. Contract award and compliance
. Expected to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

You must have:

. Knowledge and experience of the end-to-end procurement process
. Experience of ICT procurement
. Significant strategy, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

In addition to the above skills, it would also be highly advantageous if you have experience of public sector procurement. In order to be considered for this role you must have a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland, or be willing to apply for one.
