Procurement Specialist

Parity Professionals are currently recruiting for a procurement specialist on a contract basis to run until end of March 2016 with potential to extend further after this date.

You will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities.

- Identify, agree and establish the approach between the business and the Digital Transformation Service (DTS) in relation to specific engagements for core business and partners. Also to identify, agree and establish the mechanism between the business and DTS to share access to intelligence/data;
- Liaise with stakeholders to develop proposals, agree timelines and deliverables, capacity and capability of staff;
- Develop options appraisals, business cases, market engagement for customer organisations and identify procurement routes/established frameworks for securing digital/ICT technologies and services, whilst remaining in line with the policy of "re-use, share, buy, build".
- Review Investment Plan returns from across Central business in order to identify potential procurement elements through the "horizon scanning" of future investments, enabling collaboration;
- Market research as part of the options appraisal for potential future national initiatives;

Development a Digital Directorate Procurement and Supplier Management strategy.
